It wasn't much of a ranch, but it was all Holly had after her parents died, and there wasn't anywhere else she would rather be, even if she could have gotten there. But living alone wasn't her idea of an ideal life. And then one day Hunter appeared - on four paws, saving her from a wolf which had killed one of her herd. Holly had never had anything to do with werewolves, before, but there didn't seem to be much option but to let him carry her home, given her sprained ankle. That he had no clothes made things a little more uncomfortable than it might have been, of course. But she was soon to get used to his visits, and to his powerful body. He filled her with a kind of heat she had never imagined possible, and she writhed to his touch, wrapped in a fever dream of hunger and passion.
