Maverick is a hero in every sense of the word. A smokejumper, he risks his life time and again to save others and fight fires. But when an injury sidelines him, he heads to Mountainville to heal. Who knows? Maybe he’ll finally meet that baby girl he’s been dreaming of.
Violet is finishing her last semester at college. A championship swimmer and a straight A student, she has so much to look forward to—until she’s outed as a Little! With her teammates turning their backs on her, she reaches out to her true friend and someone who understands—Katie. Soon, Violet is in Mountainville for spring break, ready to heal and maybe even have a bit of fun.
When she meets Maverick, though, she realizes she might just get more than some good times.
She might actually get a Daddy, as Mountainville has a way of bringing people together.
But all is not well in that special oasis for Bigs and Littles. Someone is pulling pranks and working hard to frame Eli. Who is behind it and why do they have it out for him?
