It’s hard to kill your enemies when you fall in love with them…
In her previous life, Shizuka-no-kami was a bride-to-be when she was murdered in cold blood by her betrothed to gain her dowry. Because she perished in the snow, the Snow Goddess fosters her spirit, turning her into a yuki-onna, a snow maiden.
When the Snow Goddess’ sacred domain is threatened with never-ending battles, Shizuka is sent to entice and kill the aggressor’s overlords. She isn’t prepared for what awaits her. Lord Hiraoka Ichizo and his second-in-command, Tenshin Satoru, decide to introduce her to carnal pleasure and share her between them. As Shizuka is torn from the overlords’ seduction, other trouble is brewing on the horizon.
This time, if Shizuka does not heed how dangerous lust for power really is, the tightly woven treachery might kill her for good.

SHUNGA CHRONICLES 1: LADY OF THE SNOW, Patrice F, JOYFULLY REVIEWED
Detailed with lush images of Japanese history and culture, Lady of the Snow captures and spins a unique and fanciful thread on the snow maiden legend. Every scene is so wonderfully executed that I didn’t doubt for a moment that I’d stepped back in time to feudal Japan. Never fear, the extras don’t overpower and clog up the story. The characters are charismatic and believable. The sex is hot enough to transform a snow storm into the desert. Lizzie Lynn Lee pours her heart into her writing with a big dollop of skill and heaps of wickedly wanton and superb imagination. This story is as unique as a snowflake, and I can honestly say that it’s most definitely a Changeling Press gem.
SHUNGA CHRONICLES 1: LADY OF THE SNOW, 4 Angel s~ Maija FALLEN ANGEL REVIEWS
Lady of the Snow is a fast-paced, raunchy read with sex scenes so sizzling you’ll need a cold shower afterwards! There’s more to this novella than sex, though – there are two intriguing and action-filled sub-plots that tie together nicely at the end. Shizuka is a wounded innocent but she learns to trust her new lords, who treat her with love and tenderness. Satoru is incredibly loyal to both his lord and Shizuka, and Ichizo starts out arrogant but soon shows his noble spirit. A fun read, and I look forward to picking up the rest of the books in the Shunga Chronicles series.
SHUNGA CHRONICLES 1: LADY OF THE SNOW, 5 nymphs ~ Chocolate Minx, LITERARY NYMPHS
Shizuka is a spirit who was murdered by her greedy betrothed and her soul rescued by the Snow Princess. Not accustomed to having human form, she quickly discovers she enjoys the seductions of Ichizo and Satoru, who are long time bonded lovers. Both men grow to love Shizuka and vow to stay together always, but like most romances, chaos finds them. Lizzie Lyn Lee has created a breathtaking story with all the emotional elements of a Japanese opera. The plot is intriguing and the love scenes are enticing, a great first installment to this series. I enjoyed this episode immensely.
SHUNGA CHRONICLES: LADY OF THE SNOW, You Need to Read ~ Brynna Curry, You Gotta Read Reviews
First things first, I’m a huge fan of any sort of anime or manga in Japanese lore. Lady of the Snow put me in the mind set of a very, very hot feudal Japan. If you can’t take the heat, stay out of this kitchen, Ms. Lee turns up the steam to boiling point. Deep, evocative characters and sweeping imagery make this book one you need to read.
