Damn it! I made it clear to him.
If he joined the Midnight Avenue Motorcycle Club, we were done.
I’d never be an outlaw biker’s ol’ lady. No way.
So, why does the sight of him make me weak?
Why does all that desire rush back, no matter how hard I try to ignore it?

But then… I invite him inside.
