What in the world am I doing even considering being with a man like him. I’m a lawyer and I’m already young enough that nobody takes me seriously. What would they think if they knew I had a crush on a mobster? He’s a client, though, and so I don’t really have any choice but to spend time with him. It’s strictly professional until one night when I manage to fix a big problem. Then, there’s nothing professional about things at all. But now, I’ve slept with a client who can’t possibly want me.
